guys. i know it’s 10 days into december. but shall we debrief november?!
what a month. a lot went on.
we had halloweekend to start off the month. lovely beginning to say the least.
listen it was a blast, but as a girl that feels every emotion to the absolute fullest there was obviously a little cry to be had. and that is okay. we wipe those tears and we walk back into the party. let yourself feel, don’t push it away but don’t let it ruin your time.
it is better to let yourself feel then to bury yourself away!!
then it was my birthday!!!! and my friends are simply the best, we went out for a cozy dinner and all my friends were texting me. birthdays are such a lovely reminder to show you the love is truly always surrounding you!
i also had a big milestone! i worked my first uconn basketball game:)
lots of nerves in my system (as always) but we did it!!! working was such a blast and i got to sit and listen in on the postgame conference. it was actually a dream come true! i couldn’t be more grateful for the experiences i have had in just this semester alone.
i also had my sorority semi formal!! we all got to dress up and have fun, i truly am so happy everything happens for a reason. i love all my sorority friends and honestly couldn’t imagine my life without them even though i have only known them for a few months at this point.
there are just some people that you feel you have known for years and my big is truly one of those girls. she came out of nowhere into my life and i love her to the moon and back. if you are ever stressed about friends and not finding the right people, don’t worry too much. people come into your life at the exact time they are supposed to.
i did some reflecting in november too.
i found my old journal from just last semester and wow someone was in the painful part of growth. i’m still growing daily but now i can do it with a smile on my face in hopes of an even better tomorrow!
make sure to reflect too, we don’t realize how much we have grown until we look in that rear view mirror and see the landmarks we once thought we could never get passed.
i got to go home for thanksgiving break and what a blessing. i saw all my family and closest friends!! we spent thanksgiving with my brother’s girlfriend and her family, it was so fun and peaceful. i went to a devils game with my dad, poppop, and brother. devils won!!! it is so much fun being back at the prudential center since that is the place where i found my love for sports:) it always brings back my childlike love of the game.
it is so nice being home but it can be a struggle having so much more time on your hands. i will do a whole post on how to defeat the horrid boredom!
while i was home my best friend’s emily and i decided we were going to start a bible study group at home for Christmas break and i couldn’t be more excited!!!!!
lastly, November taught me a lot about my faith, even more than i already knew!!! i feel closer than ever to God and i am so excited to continue growing with Him. i will also most definitely being writing more blog posts on my faith and spirituality so stay tuned!!
overall an amazing month!! i hope your’s was good too:)
so blessed to be able to share my lovely moments with you guys!
thank you for reading!!!
